We are going to discuss on how to recover a black berry imei/serial number after formatting an android phone.
Few weeks back, I got a call from a friend, he was complaining bitterly about how he has lost access to the internet, I asked him how it happened, he told me he ran into a problem on his phone and had to restore the factory settings.
So I suggested he get another valid imei, change it and subscribe, he said he can't cause he will have to wait for another 24hrs for his Sim to get activated.

You see we live in hard times now where the economy of the country is very bad, only few can sacrifice N2500 and higher amounts on data subscription, the rest of us have no choice than to be economical. But as far as geeks exist and the world is fast becoming a tech world there is always a way.

NB:Changing of imei/serial numbers only works on mtk devices and you can't just get any imei/serial number from the back of your blackberry phone, no, it has to be a generated and valid black berry code.

Now back to the topic, I once spoke on how to back up ROM, so make sure you make a backup of your ROM before trying this process, if you don't know how click Here before proceeding.

How to recover lost blackberry imei after formating your android device.

1. After making a backup of your ROM, then you change your factory imei to a valid blackberry imei, once its been activated.

2. Download an app call zipme, you can get it from play store.

3. Open the app, click on the plus ➕ button another menu will pop up, click on folder, click on data, locate a folder named nvram, click on it and tap the select button.
You should see the folder standing alone, then tap on create, on directory you can choose the location you want it to be saved, you can also rename it to whatever you want or can remember, but don't change the extension .zip once that's done, click ok and wait for the file to finish compressing.

4. Once it's done exit the app, go to your SD card and locate the folder you saved the file to, select it and paste it to the root of your SD card, meaning it should not be in any folder.

5. When you are done with that, boot into recovery, if your phone is switched on, you can download mobile uncle tools, open it and use it to boot into recovery or better still you can try by switcappreciated.ur phone and pressing the volume key and power button together to boot into recovery.

6. Select backup/restore, select restore, choose zip from SD card, select the zipped file you recently pasted on the root of your SD and wait for it to finish updating.

7. Click on reboot once it's done, click on phone and dial *#06#, to see the imei.
