-download SP flashtool
-download VCOM drivers
-download the recovery image
-and have with you your USB cable

How to port twrp on tecno l5

-first you have to extract the recovery zip file which you downloaded "recovery.img" and "mt6580_android_scatter.txt" to your PC, or you can create a folder on PC and extract it in there.

-Power off your device

-Launch your Sp flash tool, then click on the upgrade tab and click on the scatter loading button

-after that, you then locate and select "mt6580_android_scatter.txt"

-after that click on download to begin the flashing process and onnect your phone to phone to PC via your USB cable

-After connecting your device to your PC, press volume down or volume up key so it can easily be detected by your computer.

-your flashing process should begin and once it is done, a green 'good mark' symbol will appear to indicate that the flashing was a success

Congratulations, TWRP recovery mode have been ported to your android device, simply press and hold your power button + volume down to boot into recovery mode

How to root tecno L5

-download superSU zip file and move it to the internal memory of you device

- switch off your device and boot to recovery mode ( press and hold power button + down simultaneously for 5secs)

-once in recovery menu, click on install and go and select the superSU zip file

-once the installation process has been completed, go back to the recovery menu and tap reboot to reboot your device
