Requirement
-PC-SP flash tool download
-SuperSU download
-TWRP for tecno camon C5
-For those of you that have not installed VCOM drivers on your PC.
How to port TWRP on tecno camon C5
-Connect your device to your PC with USB cable.-Move the SuperSu you downloaded to your external SD card
-Disconnect and put off your phone
-Unzip the TWRP recovery which you downloaded to your desktop.
-then you launch SP flash tool
-load scatter file from SP flash tool
-the look for and select the scatter fiole from the TWRP recovery folder.
-Tick on only recovery in the SP flash tool
-Then in the select option on SP flash tool, select download only.
-Then tap on download, while your phone is still switched off, conneect your USB cable to your phone.
-Do not interrupt and wait till you get a download "Success message" a green good mark symbol
Congratulations, you have successfully ported TWRP on your tecno camon c5
How to root tecno camon c5
-Boot your device into recovery mode (power off your device then press and hold power off + volume up key)-while on twrp mode, choose install zip from SD card, navigate to the SuperSu.zip in your sd card and install.
-after flashing, navigate back to the TWRP menu and click on reboot.
Congratulations! you have successfully rooted your device.

Hi everyone, I have problems rooting my tecno c5. I followed every steps but when I finished flashing the TWRP recovery and tried to boot in the recovery mode, it showed some kind of Chinese recovery. So I am asking myself why I can't boot the TWRP recovery I just flashed. Is my tecno a fake one?
