Upgrade Your Tecno Camon C8 To Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Requirements

-if you are rooted, pls make sure you unroot your device before trying this out to avoid stories that touches.

-download the marshmallow upgrade foe camon C8

How to apply the upgrade

- place the Tcard_update_20160415 in the root of your SD card (not in any folder)

-switch off your tecno camon C8

-then boot into recovery by pressing and holding power button + volume up simultaneously, then release these buttons once you see the startup logo

-press and hold the power and volume up button for 2 seconds until you see something like the image in the caption below

-then use the volume down button to navigate to apply update from SD card and then you press the power button to select.

-you should see a new UI after the process above, use the volume down button to navigate down toTcard_update_20160415 and use the power button to select.

-the installation will begin and once its done, you will see a new interface just like the one in the caption below.

-click on reboot this would take up to 7mins upon its completion you will have HiOS and android 6.0 marshmallow on your device.
